Deadline for TEDxSanaa 2012 Attendance Application
Preparations for the TEDxSanaa event on December 31st 2012 are afoot. We have received hundreds of attendance applications so far that have actually mounted to double the hall capacity fixed at 250 attendants only. As we announce that Wednesday the 5th of December will be the deadline for attendance applications, we hope that everyone will understand that the selection process is primarily based on the diversity of attendants’ interests and specialties and their explicit desire to attend the event. Such matters will be verified closely and every applicant may now refer to the application form and CV forwarded upon application as we now hope that all will come to see the purpose for requiring it upon application.
The screening process will be initiated once the application for attendance is closed. An e-mail will be sent to whoever is selected including certain guidelines and instructions that shall be taken into account and will require an attendance confirmation. It is noteworthy that the attendance tickets are free of charge.
Initial Attendants lists will be created and whoever doesn’t confirm attendance will be replaced immediately by the next in line.
We would also like to note that there will be online live-streaming of the entire event for those who won’t be able to come.
We thank all of those who interacted and applied as attendants and we sincerely wish that we could have had a larger venue to accommodate all or open up spaces for you in our hearts for you have stood by TEDxSanaa since day one. However, we promise that attendants will be larger in number in the upcoming events Inshallah. TEDxSanaa Team

I have invented first Syrian RC plane, also working on an Arabic Quadcopter.
I have just got to Sana’a, and I am sorry the attendee application has closed.

و يا حبذا لو تم توزيع شهادة لكل حاضر
و يكون كلام كبير لو تم خلال المؤتمر وضع الية لتواصل الفاعلية عبر وسطاء محليين و لو حتى بصورة جزئية
كم كنت اتمنى الحضور لكن اظنني تاخرت لكن لا باس فنحن طموحين ولن يكون نهايه طريقنا مسدود اتمنى لكم ولي التوفيق

I am very pleased to see that TEDX is organizing this conference in Yemen. Its by chance I will be in Yemen during this conference. I am not sure if i have anything to contribute to this conference, however I would like to inform the organizers that I have an experience in working with young people and nonprofit organizations here in the united states starting in 1979. I am presently involved with three different organizations locally. I am also a retired teacher. I would like to put my experience and expertise in the disposal of the organizers if they can see that I have something to offer to make this conference successful please let me know and email me back. I will be in Yemen December 29. Thank you very much and I hope you a very successful conference and I hope your initiative activities in Yemen will bare its fruit in the near future.
