What is TEDxSanaa ?

TEDxSanaa is an independently organized event, licensed by TED and held once a year in Sanaa to spread innovative and inspiring ideas worth spreading in a variety of domains; arts, literature, technology, entertainment, design, knowledge, science applications…etc).
The event was staged for the first time in Sanaa, and in Yemen in general, in 2012 making a huge success and receiving applause from many in Yemen and abroad. Several talks went viral in TED.com in terms of viewership and popularity while the number of hits on TEDxSanaa Youtube channel is nearing the 2 million views.
TEDxSanaa involves a live show of inspiring ideas and unique experiences. Besides the ability to be among the stage audience by filling in an application on the website, all talks will be livestreamed on the day of the event. Furthermore, all the talks will be recorded for later broadcast on TEDxSanaa's Youtube channel.
